A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Great little spot! On our way to the Natural Science Museum, we were hungry and had a cranky three year old in tow. We tried two other restaurants in the neighborhood but got declined a table for various reasons - we chalk it up to the toddler. We walked into Cocolinda and were greeted immediately with a smile and waved us towards a very comfortable table. Being Americans the waiter offered us menu's in English, but we told him we'd prefer to practice our spanish, to which he smiled and agreed. Service was awesome throughout the meal, and the menu del dia was fantastic. We had croquettes and truffle pesto pasta and cheesecake. All three were amazing, and some of the best we've had in Valencia. We also ordered spring rolls which were also very good. While paying out excellent server - Miguel Angel - asked us where we were from and had a nice little conversation. We left with a smile, and so did he!"
"The welcome is warm and the atmosphere is lovely. I enjoyed dishes featuring Valencian specialties, and every bite was a delight. The service is attentive, and the homemade drinks from the Valencia region add a unique touch. A big thank you to Hicham for his warm welcome! Don’t miss the homemade desserts! A place I highly recommend."
"We waited a bit because the bar on holiday time was very busy but we enjoyed the sun, the wine and the chat in the meantime. When the food arrived (calamarcitos crujientes) it was fantastic!"
"The atmosphere of the place was so cozy and you could feel that someone spend a lot of time designing and organizing the whole space. We were seated inside and had a view to the street. The food was really tasty and nicely presented. There was an option of a “set menu” for breakfast that was really worth the money. That was one of the best (tastiest) coffees we tried in the city. The service was really good and all of the staff were friendly and warm welcoming, even though they don’t all speak English."
"Such a perfect place!! We had lunch here. The Nam rolls are something you absolutely have to try! The service was fast and our waitress Alexandra was such a pleasure!! They also speak English here so don’t hesitate to pay this place a visit, you’ll love it!"
"First time in València and found this gem of a restaurant. The food was superb and the set menu great value but added to that was the welcome. Olga and Nickolas gave great service. Not just doing their job but making us so welcome and explaining everything. So helpful for a non Spanish speaker. They can be proud of the way they looked after us. Also like to say we ate here around 5.45pm. The other restaurants in the area were not doing food service. So great food, great service and open when we wanted to eat. Five stars."
"The food was really good! The eggplant tartare and cuscus were amazing!!"
"Great service, lovely decorations. The nutella pudding was really nice. The food is halal as well."
